It is obvious why Textile industry museum is located in Tampere. Tampere was the capital of Finnish textile industry. There was dozens of cotton, linen, wool and tricot mills. In the museums exhibitions the story of the city’s textile industry is told comprehensively in an authentic factory premises at the old Finlayson Cotton mill.  No entrance fee.
