DomenicAspassa Sundays in Milan

On DomenicAspasso Sundays tens of thousands of people attend special events and visit various cultural sites that are open especially for this occasion. This is a unique opportunity to see interesting places and sites and with free admission. On 2013 the dates of the DomenicAspasso are the following:  March 17th,  April 7th,  May 12th,  June 9th,  July 14th, September 8th, October 13th and  November 17th. Each DomenicAspasso is organized under a specifoc theme. During this days traffic in municipal area is closed, and many venues and events open for visitors free of charge: like swimming pools, BikeMi services, most popular municipal museums -  Musei del Castello Sforzesco, Museo del Novecento, Museo Archeologico, Museo di Storia Naturale and Museo del Risorgimento.  With assistance of colunteers from Cultural Heritage many palces will be open free and offer guided tours and live music - among them Church of San Maurizio al Monastero Maggiore, the Crypt of San Giovanni in Conca, the Church of Sant’Antonio Abate, the Boschi di Stefano House Museum etc.
