Basilica La Sagrada Familia is oe of the weirdest sights in Barcelona. Its construction was started in 1882, a year later commissioned to Gaudi, all work were financed by donations. Today the basilica  is one of major sights and symbols of barcelona and is still unfinished.  Although there is no time when you can have free admission inside the basilica, you can get major impression on that just walking around.  Visit the sight also in the evening to enjoy illumination effect, see timetable here.

Picasso museum - in 1960, on Picasso’s own express wish, his friend and personal secretary Jaume Sabartés proposed the creation of a museum dedicated to the artist’s work to the City Council of Barcelona. By 1963, the museum was a reality and opened its doors in the gothic Palau Aguilar.  Free  entrance on the first Sunday of each month, each Sunday after 15:00, on 12 Feb, 18 May and 24 Sep.
